Book your next 10 gigs
Six steps. About 3-4 hours of reading, then 90 minutes twice a week of actual outreach.
Most bands that “can’t get gigs” are inconsistent, not unlucky. This path is a weekly system: a buyer-ready kit, a shared tracker, short pitches, calendar blocks, a written price floor, and a pipeline that closes holds to paid. It is for working local and regional bands that already play (or have played a first show) and need a repeatable pipeline—not a pep talk.
Step 1 of 6
Get the kit buyer-readyMake a stranger able to hear you, see you live, and find a contact in under a minute.
Done when: One public URL with positioning line, 2-3 tracks, live video, photos, honest draw notes, and a booking email that a human answers. Tested on a phone in incognito.
Step 2 of 6
Open the tracker and build the listGive the band one shared place for pitches, holds, confirms, and payouts so opportunities stop leaking out of group chat.
Done when: One shared copy exists. Booking owner named. At least 15 rooms within ~90 minutes logged as Researched with a real contact, capacity note, and date window.
Step 3 of 6
Write pitches rooms finish readingContact the right human, in the right room, with a short email and one kit link, then follow up like a professional, not a pest.
Done when: Booking lead can send a sub-200-word pitch from the tracker without attaching a zip, CCing the whole band, or inventing draw numbers.
Step 4 of 6
Run booking as a weekly jobStop treating outreach as a quarterly panic. Install the calendar blocks and stage ladder that fill next month.
Done when: Two recurring calendar blocks exist. Stage ladder matches the tracker. The band agrees that skipped booking hour is noticed the same way skipped rehearsal is noticed.
Step 5 of 6
Price from a floor, not a vibeKnow the cost floor per show so yes is a business decision, not a panic.
Done when: Written floor for a local date and a travel date. Tracker has a pay / deal-type column on every active row. The band can decline below-floor offers in one sentence.
Step 6 of 6
Keep every gig moving from hold to paidSeparate prospecting from confirmed shows. Close lingering negotiations. Log outcomes so the 11th gig is smarter than the first.
Done when: Tracker can answer where every gig is right now. Active gigs are not mixed with cold prospects. Every played date has a paid/reconciled note and a rebook signal.

Gig Booking Tracker
This is the path’s working document. Open it in step 2 and keep it open through step 6. Status stages (Researched → Pitched → Follow-up → Hold → Confirmed → Played → Paid → Dead) are the operating language for the rest of the path.

No account required. Checks stay in this browser. Count “next 10 gigs” as 10 rows that reach Confirmed (written agreement). Paid/Reconciled is the quality bar.

Never booked a room? How to book your first gig is the on-ramp, not a path step. When DIY volume is maxed out, read the booking agent guide — also not a path step. Step 1’s optional companion is EPK templates . The Booking & Gigs topic hub stays a library; this page is the sequence.
