Bay Minette is a small Baldwin County seat where music grows out of church services, school bands, and country and blues cover bands at local bars. Mobile area musicians sometimes drive north for small gigs and civic events.

The high school auditorium, community center, church fellowship hall, and local bar or restaurant provide the main stages. County fair events also book local acts.

Bay Minette does not have a roster of famous natives. Local and regional artists perform here, with musicians from the Mobile area occasionally passing through.
