Nevada City is a small Gold Rush-era town in the Sierra Nevada foothills with an arts-oriented community. Music includes acoustic singer-songwriters, folk, bluegrass, and community choirs at small gatherings and seasonal festivals. Grass Valley and Sacramento supply additional musicians.
