Frederick is a fast growing Weld County town on the northern Denver fringe, where suburban families, school music programs, and church worship teams create the local sound. The town is largely residential, so most professional musicians commute south to Denver, Boulder, or Fort Collins.

Music is limited to school auditoriums, church fellowship halls, park pavilions during town events, and a few local restaurants. There are no dedicated music venues, so regular gigging means driving into the Denver metro area.
