Superior is a small suburban town between Boulder and Denver along U.S. 36. Its music culture is young and family oriented, with school programs, church groups, and community festivals setting the pace. Boulder and Denver provide the robust professional scenes within a short commute.

Community park concerts, school auditoriums, and church events host most live music. For clubs, breweries, and all-ages venues, Superior musicians drive east to Denver or northwest to Boulder, where the booking calendars are much fuller.

Superior has no nationally known artists; local and regional musicians perform here, with Denver-Boulder players occasionally driving the U.S. 36 corridor for suburban events.

Volunteer for Superior community concerts and school music events. Then bring original material to Boulder and Denver open mics, using the short commute to build a regional network.
