Asbury Lake is a suburban community southwest of Jacksonville where music is heard in school programs, church services, and neighborhood gatherings. Jacksonville-area musicians drive in for private events and small restaurant sets. There is no central entertainment district.

School auditoriums and church fellowship halls provide the main indoor stages. A few restaurants and coffee shops host acoustic players on weekends. Park pavilions are used for outdoor community events, and the community center can be reserved for recitals.

Local and regional artists perform here, with musicians from the nearby Jacksonville scene occasionally passing through.

School bands and church music groups are good entry points. Asking locally owned restaurants about acoustic brunch or dinner sets is common. Working musicians usually drive into Jacksonville for regular gigs.
