Columbus, a small community north of the Twin Cities, has a modest music presence tied to school programs, church music, and community gatherings. Minneapolis and St. Paul musicians frequently drive north for suburban events.

Local and regional artists perform here, with musicians from the nearby Minneapolis scene occasionally passing through.

Join the school band or a church choir, attend Twin Cities open mics, and perform at Columbus community events and neighborhood gatherings to build a local following.
