Music scene · Nashville

Nashville is a small Nash County city in eastern North Carolina, not the Tennessee music capital. Local music centers on church choirs, school bands, and civic events, with country and gospel acts from the Rocky Mount area sometimes visiting.

The community center, high school auditorium, church fellowship halls, and county fairgrounds host concerts and talent shows. Local restaurants book occasional music, with larger rooms in Rocky Mount or Wilson.

Local and regional artists perform here, with musicians from the nearby Rocky Mount scene occasionally passing through.

Musicians should connect with church music programs, school bands, and the county fair. For steady paid work, players usually drive to Rocky Mount, Wilson, or Raleigh.
