Music scene · Louisville

Louisville is a small Stark County city where school marching bands, church choirs, and local bar sets form the backbone of musical life. Canton and Massillon musicians often drive northeast for suburban gigs and community events.

In Louisville, live music is usually heard at church fellowship halls, the high school auditorium, local bars and restaurants, and community festivals. Canton provides additional venues nearby.

Local and regional artists perform here, with musicians from the nearby Canton and Massillon scene occasionally passing through.

New artists in Louisville should join school ensembles, check church and community center bulletins, and drive to Canton or Massillon for open mics and paying gigs as experience grows.
