Lakeland North is a suburban community south of Seattle near Auburn, where school bands, church choirs, and community events form the local music scene. The Seattle and Tacoma metro areas supply the nearest working musicians and larger venues.

Music is limited to school auditoriums, church fellowship halls, park pavilions during community events, and private gatherings. There are no dedicated venues, so public concerts require traveling toward Auburn, Tacoma, or Seattle.
