Jackson is a resort town at the base of the Teton Range where music follows the tourist season. Acoustic acts, country bands, and singer-songwriters play at lodges, bars, and outdoor festivals when visitors arrive.

Ski resort lounges, downtown bars, and restaurants provide seasonal live music. The high school auditorium and community center host year-round local events, and summer festivals set stages in town parks.

Local and regional artists perform here, with musicians from the nearby regional resort circuit occasionally passing through.

Musicians should target lodges and restaurants before tourist seasons. Winter and summer offer the most work, but competition is high, and many performers also travel to Bozeman or Idaho Falls for additional dates.
